Travel to Phoenix Arizona
We have travel tip Arizona for you. What do you want? Busy city of quiet mountains? Here we can give you a good travel to Arizona.
One of nature’s most attractive creations, of course no other than the Grand Canyon shapes a variety of color with more than a mile deep and 277 miles long. Featuring rugged campsites and distant hiking trails and of course don’t forget the scenic panorama, it is more than a gorgeous vista: it is a destination that will leave you fascinated and amused while you are in the sight. Here in Arizona we have five distinct regions – hundreds of towns and cities, dozens of national and state parks that are including the Grand Canyon.
Here are some tips where you can reach Grand Canyon National Park from main entrances on the south Rim – including the South Rim’s eastern entrance - and the North Rim. The Canyon’s western edge, home to beautiful Havasupai Falls and the town of Supai, is also available through roads on the Huyalapai Indian Reservation.
Climate in Grand Canyon
SUMMER temperatures on the South Rim are relatively pleasant. North Rim temperatures
are a few degrees cooler due to the higher elevation. Inner canyon temperatures are
extreme. Daytime highs at the river often exceed 105°F. Thunderstorms frequently
occur during July, August, and early September.
WINTER conditions on the South Rim
can be extreme. The road into the North Rim is closed from the first heavy snow
in November or early December to mid-May.
SPRING and FALL. Come prepared for a variety
of conditions. Pleasant weather can change to rain or cold.
